“You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.” –Timber Hawkeye
The feeling of being overwhelmed is something that kind of creeps up on us very slowly, then hits like a ton of bricks. It often starts subtle making us feel rushed. Then once we’re pushed out of our comfort zones we start losing control bit by bit. We then lose sight of what we are trying to do and most importantly we end up struggling with what we need to get done. As a result, we become negative and start complaining and blaming everyone and everything, but ourselves. It can often leave us feeling stressed and depressed at times. When you find yourself feeling like you can’t handle or cope with circumstances give one of these coping methods a try.
