Hit the Gym
Exercising regularly can help lower your stress and anxiety by releasing endorphins. It can also improve your sleep and self-image. So, try setting aside time in your schedule each week for a 30-minute walk. You can also make a list of physical activities you enjoy, like dancing or playing a sport and setting aside time for those activities. Just take the time to move a few times a week.
Take a Deep Breathe
Deep breathing can help you relax when you’re feeling anxious about something. First physically separate yourself from the situation, then close your eyes and inhale slowly and count to four. Hold your breath for four counts then gently slowly release this for four counts. Repeat this process until you feel your heart slow, and you’re ready to enter the situation.
Spend Time With a Four-legged Friend
Practice Mindfulness
Watch Your Caffeine Intake
Some substances can accelerate anxiety, and caffeine is one of them. So, the last thing you need is something that gets you riled up. Pay attention to the way caffeine affects you, and consider cutting back.

Perfect advice. If I had a 4 legged friend I could cross each step off this list
Thank you, being able to cross all but one is great.
The pets advice is a really good one. We don’t deserve them and yet they’re here
Yes, pets are so kind and loving. We are so lucky to have them come into our lives. They just make everything better.
Great advice Angela! I try to get more sleep when I’m in that state of high anxiety. Spending time with my animals also are EXTREMELY helpful. They give me instant calm 🙂

Thanks, me too getting enough sleep and hanging out with my hedgehog always improves my mood.
Great advice, Angela 🙂 I loved your pet advice. I often spend time with my four legged friend.
Thank you, spending time with animals both big and small, is a great way to brighten up anybody’s mood.
This is great advice! I love cuddling my kitty when I’m upset. I think pets know when we are feeling stressed or anxious, so their presence is extra-comforting. And going to the gym really helps; even if I don’t feel like going I always feel better afterwards!
The gym does the same thing for me too. I love jumping in a machine and cranking my music up. It helps me sort out things and look at situations differently.
Angela these are fantastic tips! I think journaling is such a healthy way to release your inner thoughts, it’s private and helps you organize your feelings. I like going on morning walks to get my creativity juices flowing, really sets the tone for a productive day!

Thanks for stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed the tips. I love journaling for that reason and have become a bit of notebook junkie.
