Meal Planning, stick to a grocery list and cook at home
When it comes to saving money on your grocery bill planning is a must. So pick a day of the week and plan out your meals for the week and create a grocery list. Once you’ve planned your meals and created a grocery list make sure you stick to your list when you’re out shopping. It’s easy to get sidetracked at the grocery store so, don’t go shopping hungry. Lastly, cooking at home is so much cheaper and healthier than eating out. So, make it a habit to eat at home rather than eating out.
Stock up on Sales and use Coupons
When you see a deal on pantry staples or your favorite foods stock up on them. Just make sure they won’t go bad in the meantime. Coupons are also a great way to save money. They’ll cut the cost of the products you need around the house, so you’ll have more spending money in your budget. Just make sure you are using them wisely, and sorting out the coupons that are for unhealthy processed foods. Nowadays stores offer digital coupons, all you have to do is save it to your rewards card then make sure you scan it during checkout and all eligible coupons will be applied to your order. So, instead of clipping paper coupons, you have the option to save time and go digital.
Start a Garden
With some time and effort, you can easily start a garden and continuous supply of fresh vegetables and herbs that’ll save you money at the store. Work out at home
Gym memberships have their perks, but if you’re trying to cut cost then you can still get a full workout at home. There’s a variety of free resources that you have access to like YouTube or various fitness apps. So you can still get a workout without spending money on a monthly gym membership.
Join a Meetup group or watch our community event
Meetup is a directory of local communities. The communities are separated by category, both the website and app are free to use. All you have to do is search for biking, hiking, and other fitness groups in your area. It’s a great way to get out and meet new people, also keep an eye out on your communities event calendar you may be able to find a low cost or free classes like Zumba, yoga, or fitness boot camps.

This are very important tips. To live a healthy lifestyle is bit demanding but achievable with proper planning along with sticking to budget. Due to my hormonal imbalance issue, I always do meal preparation and eat home cooked food even on my travel trips. Sticking to grocery list, prior meal prep planning, regular workout helps me a lot to stay on track of living healthy life. Thanks for sharing this lovely tips.

Thank you for stopping by. I’m glad that you’ve found ways to stay on track and maintain a healthy lifestyle. And, you’re right it is demanding, but achievable long as you stick to it.
These are all great tips. I make a meal plan weekly and try to stick to what’s on sale plus use coupons. That helps a lot.
Thank you. I do too and I like that most stores now offer digital coupons. It’s a lot easier and saves time.
Yess these are all helpful tips! I just relinquished my gym membership which cost me about $23 a month … it feels relieving that I can use that for something else now. We usually stick to cooking at home so we do save a lot that way and my mom has her own garden too and she grows stuff like aloe vera, tomatoes, dill, cilantro, mint, etc! It’s great. I wish I had a green thumb like her so I could do that in the future haha
I don’t have a green thumb either I struggling to keep my houseplants alive an well. My dad is the one with the green thumb, my parents have about an acre of land and have a garden and chickens. If I didn’t have an HOA I would want to do the same thing. Gym memberships add up over the months, but there are always free alternatives. And keep your money in your pocket is better than spending it.
These are some good tips. I especially like the one that speaks to cooking at home. When you cook at home , you know exactly what is going into your food. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, that’s my favorite too. It’s always nice to know what exactly is going into your food.
Planning meals ahead of time saves lots of money, stress and calories. Personally, I think it’s better to work out at home because it’s cleaner and you can go at your own speed. Plus, like you mentioned, there are tons of free apps and YouTube vids to guide you along your journey. I think these are not only money saving tips but time saving tips on things like gas. Thanks for these savvy tips Angela!

Thank you and your welcome. I enjoy working out at home more than going to the gym too. I don’t have to drive or worry about touching something icky or wait for a machine. I go at my own pace and if I need anything like a towel or water I can just run upstairs and grab it free of charge.
