The month of October means a lot of things like pumpkin-flavored everything and comfy sweaters. But it means Halloween the best day for horror movies and video games. Playing a horror game is a lot different from watching a horror movie. Video games allow you to get right in on the action. So you feel like you’re the one running for your life through a dark forest.  So today why not try something different and play a horror game instead. Go ahead and spook yourself silly this Halloween with these spooktacular games.

Sometimes life is hectic and we forget to take care of ourselves in the chaos. But it’s important to find the time to take care of yourself and practice self-care. There are many benefits to practicing self-care. It’s important to know your worth and practice self-care daily to boost your confidence, self-esteem. To remind yourself and others that your needs are important too. But for people dealing with depression self-care can seem unattainable at times. Through feelings of despair and listlessness depression can often leave you feeling like looking after yourself more effort than it’s worth.

It’s starting to get cold where I live and because of that, it’s time to bring out the big comfy sweaters and the fall boots. But most importantly cold weather means its time for comfort foods. Especially if your going to be stuck indoors, doesn’t hurt to have a delicious meal. For my family in the fall its become a tradition to enjoy a warm bowl of chili when the temperatures start to drop. I have a few chili recipes that I enjoy in the fall but this vegan lentil chili is my favorite. Mainly because it’s easy and I typically don’t have to go out and buy a bunch of ingredients. So if you want a good, basic vegan chili recipe, then this is it. In the long run, there are no secret ingredients or odd vegetables just simple ingredients that you can find at any local grocery store.

Luna P Henge!

I’m back at it again with another sailor moon inspired craft project. This time with Chibiusa helpful companion Luna P. In moving I realized that I have a lot of fabric leftover from other projects. So I tried to think of projects that would allow me to do something with scrap fabric. When I was going through all the scrap fabric I realized I had the colors to do something related to Luna from Sailor Moon.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The cool crisp and the beauty of the leaves falling. But one thing that I enjoy the most during autumn is pumpkin spice. Autumn isn’t autumn for me until I’m enjoying a pumpkin spice latte, pancake, or muffin. But one of my all-time favorite treats of fall is pumpkin spice doughnut holes and a hot cup of tea.
