The Real Neat Blog Award

I’m happy to announce that I’ve recently received another blogger award nomination. This time it’s from the lovely Deandra over at The Black Princess Diaries for The Real Neat Blog Award. She’s a lifestyle blogger who shares her poetry, her thoughts on various subjects, and tips. I’ve received a few blog award nominations throughout my time blogging, and it’s always an honor to be recognized by fellow bloggers. This award gives the nominator the opportunity to learn seven new things about the bloggers they nominate by asking them seven questions. So, I want to thank Deandre for nominating me and be sure sure to check out her blog and her post here.

March 2020 wrap-up: A Virus ate my good time

March wrap-up: A Virus ate my good time

I started my temp position, but it was cut short due to the Corona Virus. Planet Comicon was postponed, so I didn’t get to see my sister this month. Grocery store shelves nearly empty, and small businesses doing their best to make ends meet. Needless to say, March wasn’t all that positive of a month. But with all the negative things going on I tried to focus on the positives.

February 2020 Wrap-up: Moving into a new Apartment

February Wrap-up: Moving into a new Apartment

My February wasn’t all that exciting. I spent most of it packing, carrying things up four flights of stairs, unpacking, and setting up my new apartment. My mom and dad were kind enough to drive down from Michigan and help me out with my move. They were both a big help. There was one set back, I ended up dropping something on my foot and ending up having to go to the ER. Luckily, I didn’t break or fracture my foot, but I did end up in a boot with crutches. I was worried that my move was going to take longer than anticipated, but my dad came through.

January wrap-up: how I started 2020

I spent the last few weeks of 2019 with the flu. But, while I was sick in bed I had a lot of time to do some reflecting on the year. After opening my journal to a blank page, I wrote about what I liked from the past year and what I didn’t like. Once I reflected on those things, I then thought and wrote about the changes I could make to have an even better year. So here are a few of the changes I made for 2020, how my January went, as well as my February goals.
