I enjoy using black beans as a substitute for taco filling or adding it to my taco salads. It’s a heart, budget-friendly food, that’s good for your health. This black bean soup is an easy meal that you can that you throw together in a hurry. It’s full of flavor and is great to have with a sandwich.

I spent the last few weeks of 2019 with the flu. But, while I was sick in bed I had a lot of time to do some reflecting on the year. After opening my journal to a blank page, I wrote about what I liked from the past year and what I didn’t like. Once I reflected on those things, I then thought and wrote about the changes I could make to have an even better year. So here are a few of the changes I made for 2020, how my January went, as well as my February goals.
