With college life comes newfound freedom, and challenges. One of those challenges you’ll be faced with in college is budgeting. You’re not going to be making a lot of fun, and with countless experiences and opportunities, it’s tempting to indulge and rely on your parents for financial safety. But if you can learn to manage your money as a college student, you’ll live a financially stable life after college. So if you don’t want to be a broke college student, here are some tips on creating and keeping a budget.
When people think of date night they tend to think of going out to a fancy restaurant and seeing a movie afterward. While there is nothing wrong with the cliché dinner and movie for some couples going out for dates isn’t within their budget. Dinner at a reasonably priced restaurant ranges anywhere between $30-$40 plus a tip. Movie ticket prices are around $10-$15 per person not to mention the price of snacks like popcorn, drinks, and candy. If you’re a couple that’s trying to pay off debt or trying to save money spending that amount of money on a weekly basis isn’t really doable.
