8-Bit Felt Christmas Ornaments

I decided to go old school with some 8-bit felt Christmas ornaments. To keep it simple, I went with characters and shapes that would be easy to trace and cut-out. So they’re simple to make, and since they’re no-sew, you don’t have to drag out the sewing machine. They also make a great gift to give to a geeky friend. Animal Crossing Bell Bag Christmas Stocking

Why buy a Christmas stocking this year when you can make your own. And have one inspired by the bell bag in Animal Crossing instead of a generic boring stocking. This year I’m shaking things up and ditching my traditional holiday decor. And, making geeky video games inspired holiday decor. And to kick things off I starting with a new stocking to hang by the fireplace with care. Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games to play when I’m looking to relax. It’s simple, cute, and creative. You can arrange things to fit your taste and there’s no shortage of things to do in town once you’re settled. I’m looking forward to the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons on Switch and checking out Tom Nook’s new business venture. But until then I’ve got a cute new Animal Crossing inspired Christmas stocking. So if you’re a fan too and new to sewing then this sewing project is for you.
