May Warp-up: The Month Flew by

May flew by for me, so I didn’t get a chance to tackle any of my goals last month. My state started opening back up and the temp job I was working at for the stay at home order asked me to return to work for a few days. So then I rushed to get ready for that and to make sure everything was in order. Even though I didn’t tackle my goals for the month I did check out a state park and made a new cosplay.

Sometimes at the end of a hectic day, it’s nice to chill out and play a few hours of video games as apart of our evening routine. And something fast-paced and action-packed isn’t something you want to end the day. Video games come in a variety of different genres, and there are games out there that are perfect for those easy when you want to get cozy on the couch and chill out. They may not be as loud, fast-paced, or mentally taxing, but simple gameplay that lets the player slow down and enjoy the game without feeling rushed. We are designed for self-preservation, so when we are faced with a stressful situation and bodies gear up to face danger. Not a day goes by where we aren’t faced with stressful moments. Teriyaki Cauliflower

At first glance, this dish looks a lot like a dish you’d get from a local Chinese restaurant. Fried and tossed in some sort of sauce and served with a side of rice. But what makes this dish different from a Chinese restaurant staple is it’s vegan. It’s cauliflower fried to a crispy golden brown and tossed in teriyaki sauce. And boy, is it good. There are only a few restaurants that offer vegetarian or vegan versions of Chinese restaurant staples. So, why not make it at home? Being a vegetarian or a vegan doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy certain dishes anymore, but that you get to try new ways of cooking those dishes using different ingredients.
