The Cosplay Chronicles: Why I Cosplay, How I Build, and What It Means to Me

May 28, 2025 by Angela Louise 1 Comment
Cosplay Chronicles: Bringing My Favorite Characters to Life

Cosplay is one of the most joyful, chaotic, healing, and challenging things I’ve ever thrown myself into. It’s more than just dressing up—it’s crafting identities, honoring stories, and stitching together pieces of myself in every project. Lightsaber Wrist Rest

Lightsaber Wrist Rest

With it being the end of April and Star Wars Day is right around the corner, I thought I would share with you an easy Star Wars inspired craft project. This Lightsaber wrist rest is great for anyone who’s a fan of the franchise. And helps prevent injury while you’re working at your computer. I spend a lot of time on my computer, rather it writing blog posts, editing photos, or playing games on Steam. So, having a wrist rest for both my keyboard and mouse helps to alleviate the pressure across my carpel tunnel. So if you’re like me and spend a lot of time on your computer, and you’re a fan of the Star Wars franchise, then add some geeky flair to your desk. With this Star Wars inspired Lightsaber keyboard wrist rest.

Luna P Henge!

I’m back at it again with another sailor moon inspired craft project. This time with Chibiusa helpful companion Luna P. In moving I realized that I have a lot of fabric leftover from other projects. So I tried to think of projects that would allow me to do something with scrap fabric. When I was going through all the scrap fabric I realized I had the colors to do something related to Luna from Sailor Moon.
