Headphones

A good pair of headphones is a must-have for a trip to the gym. How else are you going to listen to your gym playlist, audiobook, or podcast? So make sure that you always have your headphones fully charged, packed and ready to go.

Reusable Water Bottle

When you workout you’re going to sweat so that means your going to get thirsty. Make sure that you’re carrying a reusable water bottle with you so you can stay hydrated during your workouts.

Shower In A Bottle

As mentioned before when you work out you sweat that means you get a bit smelly too. That’s where your shower in a bottle comes in handy. It’s a foam cleanser that doesn’t need water just a couple of pumps on a towel then a quick wipe down. It’s no substitute for an actual shower but if you’re like me you rather use your shower it’s great for a quick freshening up before you get home.

Mini Toiletries

Having little bottles of body wash, lotion, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner comes in hand after workouts. If you are someone who goes straight to work or school after the gym having a shower bag packed with toiletries comes in handy.

Towel

Workouts equal sweat so having a towel packed away to wipe away the sweat during your work out will come in handy. You’ll also need one if your planning to use the gym at the shower or a small one if you’re using a shower in a bottle.

Energy Bar

Sometimes you’re in a rush and you’re trying to squeeze in a quick workout before work or during some downtime. I typically workout in the morning before breakfast and when I’m done with my workout I’m usually starving. That’s where having an energy bar in your gym bag comes in handy. It’s a quick snack to hold me over until I can have a proper meal.
