Vegan Veggie Lasagna

Vegan Veggie Lasagna

Sometimes things can get hectic towards the end of the week. You don’t have the energy or time to put together a meal and end up ordering out. But, that can get expensive and fast food isn’t always the healthiest. During those situations, that’s when meals that can be prepared ahead of time or in large batches for leftovers come in handy. And that’s one of my favorite things about lasagna, you can make it one day and can have it the next.

April Wrap-Up
Hello May & Goodbye April

April was way less busy than March for me. I had more free time and was able to read more books and catch up on a couple of Netflix series. Most of the month was spent getting ready for the opening on my online shop but, I did take a trip out to Topeka, KS to see Cirque du Soleil: Corteo. Overall it was a fun and chill month for me. which I needed after my hectic March. So here’s my wrap-up of April and my plans for May.

Easy Vegan Garlic Breadsticks

April 24, 2019 by Angela Louise 3 Comments
Easy Vegan Garlic Breadsticks

I’m the person who can eat a whole basket of breadsticks before they bring my food out and, these easy vegan garlic breadsticks are no exception. Soft, buttery, warm, and easy to make. These breadsticks go great with pasta, soup, or with a side of marinara sauce. It’ll take roughly an hour from start to finish to bake a batch of these breadsticks and even less time to eat them all. Since the dough is very simple, play around with the seasoning and try adding different herbs and non-dairy cheese. So next time you have pasta, soup, or a craving for breadsticks give this recipe a try.

Vegan Katsu Curry With Baked Tofu

Vegan Katsu Curry With Baked Tofu

So one thing I don’t enjoy doing when cooking is frying. I always seem to make a mess and get oil everywhere or burn my self. Even though I’m not a fan of frying, I still love the crispy crunch they have. With that being said I present to you my delicious vegan katsu curry with baked tofu. Above all the tofu has that crispy crunch without the hassle of frying. While my little sister was in town I made this for her and she enjoyed it and she’s not even a vegan or a vegetarian. This curry is packed full of flavor and pairs perfectly with the baked tofu katsu. So if your craving some katsu curry give this recipe a try.

Spring Break in Kansas City

March 11, 2019 by Angela Louise 4 Comments
Spring Break Adventure

My little sister came to visit me for a week for her spring break. Originally we were planning to visit Colorado and do some hiking in the mountains but since the weather wasn’t the best for hiking. We decided to hang out and explore Kansas City together. It was cold with freezing temperatures so I tried to find things for us to do that were indoors.
