March Wrap-Up

Hello April & Goodbye March!

The first week of March was busy my little sister came all the way from Michigan and spent the week with me for her spring break. We went out almost every day exploring the city. Even though it was tiring It was nice to get a break from my daily routine and do something different. Then after she left I went into overdrive working on cosplays for Planet Comicon. I managed to get all of them done ahead of schedule. And since I had some free time I took on my reading challenge and was able to read 1 book and start another. So here’s my wrap-up of March.

Spring Break in Kansas City

March 11, 2019 by Angela Louise 4 Comments
Spring Break Adventure

My little sister came to visit me for a week for her spring break. Originally we were planning to visit Colorado and do some hiking in the mountains but since the weather wasn’t the best for hiking. We decided to hang out and explore Kansas City together. It was cold with freezing temperatures so I tried to find things for us to do that were indoors.

KC Game On

Being someone who is new to the Kansas City area I’m always searching for things to do in the area. During one of my searches, I came across KC Game On. It is a not for profit group that host bi-monthly gaming events. It started off small but has grown over the years to include Kansas City’s premier gaming event KC Game Con. They offer free general admission to get people in the door so that they learn more about esports and understand the gaming culture. This past Saturday I visited KC Game Con and saw how much they had to offer to the Midwest gaming community. The KC Game Con had a lot to offer its guest.

October Wrap-Up

Weird-Louise-October-Recap

My October

October is my favorite month. It starts cooling down, there’s pumpkin-flavored everything and Halloween. I spent most of my October planing home repairs and for the upcoming holiday season. But things are a lot less hectic after getting settled into the new home. So I was able to enjoy the month of October. I went to Kansas City’s Japan Cultural Festival and saw the Kansas CIty’s ballet production of The Wizard of OZ. I also was able to put together a costume for Halloween and hand out candy. Overall I’m glad I got a chance to enjoy my favorite month especially after having a busy September.
