November 2019 Wrap-up

December 2, 2019 by Angela Louise 2 Comments
November 2019 Recap

November flew by, and I can’t believe 2019 is nearly over. I kicked off the month with a trip to Michigan for Youmacon and visited my family. After that, I took some time to relax and recharge my batteries. I did some painting and caught up on anime and other TV series. Then ended the month with some canceled plans and the materials for a new hobby. So here’s what I did in November as well as my plans for December.

October 2019 Wrap-up

October 2019

October was busy, but a very fun month. I finished both of my cosplays in time for Youma Con and had a great time on my solo trip to Chicago. And, surprisingly I was able to visit a pumpkin patch and try a pumpkin spice latte for the first time. I even got to see a musical I’ve been wanting to see for a while. Overall I’m happy with how October went. I went into last month unsure if I was going to be able to get everything done. But I worked hard, focused, and got everything done so I could enjoy some downtime last month. So, here’s what I did in October and what I have planned for November.

Solo Exploring Chicago

October 18, 2019 by Angela Louise 5 Comments
My Solo Chicago Trip

My solo trip to Chicago was full of good food and a lot of walking around the city seeing some of its landmarks. And it ended with me spending time with my little sister and I saw one of my favorite band’s 10th-anniversary show. This wasn’t my first time visiting Chicago, but my first time getting to explore and see the city. So here’s how my solo trip to Chicago went and what I saw and ate.

September 2019 Wrap-up

September 2019 Wrap-up

September was a laid back chill month for me. After getting back from Dragon Con I have a lot of things to catch up on. After that, I started working on new cosplay builds for Youma Con and watched lots of anime. I did manage to get out of the house to enjoy the last bit of summer and go on a couple of nature walks. Toward the end of September, we got some rain and with that, it started to cool off. So, I enjoyed the cooler weather and started to get in the autumn mood. Even though September wasn’t an exciting month, it was nice to have a break from everything and relax. So here’s how my September went.

August 2019 Wrap-up

August 2019 Wrap-up

August was a month of ups and downs. I went to Second Saturdays and got to try a delicious new plant-based restaurant and some new items of one of my favorite food trucks. But, sadly I had to say goodbye to the trees in my backyard. Even though August had its ups and downs, I was able to get all my cosplays but one for Dragon Con. So, here’s a wrap-up of my August and what I have planned for September.
